Solicitation Number: W81XWH15T0210 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: Added: Jul 05, 2015 12:24 pm The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA), Fort Detrick, MD in support of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed priced award for item specific Coopersurgical spare parts. The authority for the sole source justification and other than full and open competition procedures will be FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112. This Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Contract is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action is based upon Sources Sought Notice W81XWH-15-T-0210 on ASFI and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No request for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
